Tony emerged from the Newcastle leg of the GUKPT as the winner beating Steve Jelinek heads up. The field was a little depleted and had one of the lowest prizepools on the tour to date but this can be partly explained by its timing with so many players preparing to head off to Vegas for the WSOP.
