Kara Scott moved from Canada to the UK back in 1999. She is well known as a TV presenter initially hosting two series of the World Series of Backgammon, Kara was then lured over by the shuffle of cards. After shining on Poker Night Live and Sky Poker, she was quickly snapped up by PokerStars where she currently works as their acclaimed EPT host. She is now starting to make some waves in the tournament arena and her 2nd place finish at this years Irish open will make her even more marketable for Pokerstars. Kara had already gone quite deep in the main event at the WSOP last year finsihing in 104th position. Her previous biggest win was the partypoker sportsstar challenge for £26k in Feb 2008.
